Several of our sponsors first approached us via Twitter; our Midwest featured speaker Ashton Applewhite introduced herself to us via Twitter; and one of the best interviews of Dr. Bill Thomas came through a serendipitous Twitter connection with Realize Magazine.Check it out:Dr. Bill Thomas first appeared in my life as a Twitter follower of Realize Magazine. Following him back, I was surprised to find that the man had a book tour coming to LA in a few days. Before even knowing what exactly I was diving into, I managed to arrange an interview. I then hustled to download his book, devoured it in a few days, and realized that this man held some keys which would unlock a new way to look at aging, just in time for our generation to profit from his knowledge and vision. This video interview was conducted by Ellary Eddy, Editor of Realize Magazine, in the green room of the Fonda Theater in Los Angeles. We truly met a kindred spirit in Ellary and a fellow “Enthusiast” for Elderhood. Check out her follow-up blog post “Gonzo Elderhood!” and join us in a grand adventure exploring “Life After Adulthood.” Visit www.SecondWindTour.org to learn more.Related PostsSeattle Celebrates Creative AgingI want to invite local readers in Seattle to an outstanding event next week celebrating life through music and song with the Northwest Center for Creative Aging.Happy New Year From ChangingAging! On this New Year’s Eve we’d like to raise a toast to our readers and thank everyone who supported our efforts to change aging for the better!Jacksonville Business Journal: Telling a new story about aging“There’s a guy on stilts, in costume, at a theater talking about the process — the journey, really — of aging?
