Free Money!According to the Google Wallet website, the Google Prepaid Card is a virtual credit card which you can fund with any of your existing credit card accounts. The funding source doesn’t have to be Citi, nor does it have to be a MasterCard. Instead, you’ll simply activate the preloaded prepaid card within the Wallet application to begin to use it. Because the Google Prepaid Card is virtual, you won’t receive a plastic card in the mail, explains Google. And here’s the best part: Google will give you $10 for free just for activating its PrePaid Card. That means free money to spend at Google’s partners’ shops, a list that includes Peet’s Coffee, Subway, Walgreens, Toys R Us, American Eagle Outfitters, Foot Locker, Bloomingdale’s, The Container Store, Einstein Bros. Bagels, Jamba Juice, Guess, Macy’s, Walgreens and more. Plus, Google Wallet works at any MasterCard Paypass-enabled merchant, like CVS, Sports Authority, Jack in the Box, Sunoco and The Coca Cola Company (select vending machines). Is There a Catch? Depends on How Creepy You Think Google is…In all seriousness, if you’re wondering why Google is pushing Google Wallet so hard that it’s willing to hand out free cash, you have to understand Google’s core business. No, not search, silly! Advertising. With a mobile payments system like Google Wallet, the company can track transactions all the way through from the first time a user clicks on an ad in Google’s search results to the time of checkout at the point-of-sale. It will also open up whole new forms of advertising, like geo-targeted ads based on your current location, offers that appear when you search for a local business through Google’s Yelp-like Google Places service, offers that appear when you search just for a business category (e.g., “lunch,” “drug store”), Groupon-like group-buying deals, offers that appear on store loyalty cards loaded into the Wallet service, offers available on physical signage, in-store displays, posters, NFC-enabled tags and more.Google wants to tie all parts of the buying process together starting with the initial research (for larger purchases, perhaps) or the on-the-go queries performed on your mobile phone all the way to the end result – the merchant that gets your money. And it wants to keep track of your shopping habits and trends, so it can serve you even better ads. More targeted, highly personalized ads that are more likely to appeal to you, and you alone. How very Minority Report. In a way, this is type of narrowed down targeting isn’t all that different from what Facebook provides advertisers today – a way to direct a message to carefully selected and filtered members of the online population. For example, a Facebook advertiser could direct ads to all unmarried women aged 25-35 who live within 20 miles of New York. Google, on the other hand, will know you not only through your Google profile and use of its numerous other services, it will also know you in a way that may have even more appeal to some advertisers: where you spend, how much, how often, where you are now and what you’re trying to find. Sounds like a winning formula, and maybe a little creepy. But that’s Google for you. As Chairman Eric Schmidt once said while CEO, “Google policy is to get right to the creepy line and not cross it.”Did it succeed? And to get you enthused about testing this new mobile payments technology, Google is giving everyone $10 for free to get started. 8 Best WordPress Hosting Solutions on the Market

Visit: https://subscribe.premiersports.tv/ Udinese are taking 24 hours to consider coach Igor Tudor’s position after back-to-back embarrassing defeats to Atalanta and Roma, with Gennaro Gattuso the favourite. The 7-1 loss to Atalanta on Sunday evening was shocking, but partially excused by the fact they were down to 10 men for an hour. However, on Wednesday night they incredibly lost 4-0 at home against a Roma side that had Federico Fazio very harshly sent off just 32 minutes in. According to Sky Sport Italia, Tuttomercatoweb, La Gazzetta dello Sport and others, Udinese directors are taking a few hours to think about the various alternatives. Gattuso is believed to be the favourite, especially as he was in the stands for the 7-1 defeat to Atalanta, alongside his long-term assistant manager. The former Milan coach has already turned down offers from Genoa and Sampdoria this month, so there is no guarantee he’d accept Udinese. Other candidates include Pasquale Marino and Stefano Colantuono.

zoomImage courtesy: ONE The newly launched container shipping joint venture Ocean Network Express (ONE) posted its first quarterly results for the 2018 fiscal year. The company delivered a net loss of USD 120 million, which ONE ascribed to lower lifting caused by operational teething problems that affected service quality during the operation start-up period, and higher bunker price than originally forecast. The Japanese JV further lowered its forecast for the business performance for the first half of the fiscal year by USD 40 million.“Considering that service quality has already stabilized, overall business is expected to be back to normal situation from the 2Q onwards,” ONE said. For the full fiscal year the company’s net profit forecast remains unchanged at USD 110 million. According to the company this is underpinned by “steady realization of integration synergy ahead of schedule as well as the change in accounting for lease contracts while higher bunker price will have a negative impact.”Commenting on the progress of integration synergies, the container shipping company said the planned synergies worth USD 1.05 billion are emerging steadily with 80 pct of the planned total expected to be achieved in 2018 fiscal year, up from initially set target of 60 pct.The profit from overseas terminal business will be included from the 4th quarter of the fiscal year due to delay in business transfer.
OSU redshirt-freshman quarterback J.T. Barrett (16) carries the ball during a game against Kent State Sept. 13 at Ohio Stadium. OSU won 66-0.Credit: Mark Batke / Photo editorOhio State redshirt-freshman quarterback J.T. Barrett has made quite the impact during his first three weeks as a starter. The Wichita Falls, Texas, native joined fellow Texan Kenny Guiton atop the OSU record book when he tied for the most touchdown passes in a single game as he tossed six against the Kent State Golden Flashes.Barrett also became the first Buckeye to throw for more than 300 yards in a game since Troy Smith did it in 2006 against Michigan. Barrett finished with 312 on 23 of 30 passing.Because of his performance, Barrett was named Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week on Monday, in addition to earning his second Big Ten Offensive Freshman of the Week honor. The young quarterback became the first Buckeye to win the Big Ten offensive Player of the Week award since running back Carlos Hyde won it following a Nov. 16 win against Illinois in which he rushed for 246 yards and scored five total touchdowns.Barrett said after the win against Kent State on Saturday that he feels like he is improving game by game.“I feel like I’m progressing each week. I’m just trying to get better each week,” he said. “I definitely feel more comfortable every week as I get more reps. Things are starting to slow down for me in the game.”OSU coach Urban Meyer said he purposely put the ball in Barrett’s hands early and often against the Golden Flashes so he could further evaluate the young quarterback’s progression.“I wanted to force him to make plays, and receivers — it’s not just him, it’s the whole combination of quarterback/receivers,” Meyer said Saturday. “I thought he played good. I thought there was a couple misses, too, now that we could have had.”The misses that Barrett made were minimal, but he attributes the limited mistakes to getting used to the speed of the game.“That is one thing (senior quarterback Braxton Miller) told me,” Barrett said. “He said ‘at first, everything is going to be flying around, and you will be really unsure and things like that but as you go, it starts to slow down,’ and that is just game experience.”Redshirt-sophomore wide receiver Michael Thomas, who has caught four touchdowns from Barrett in OSU’s first three games, said he believes in the quarterback’s abilities.“J.T. is a real mature guy. We hold each other accountable and trust each other,” Thomas said. “I trust him and tell him I’ve always got his back out there.”That trust has been evident on the field as Thomas is currently the Buckeyes’ leading receiver with 11 catches for 214 yards and the four scores.Going forward, Meyer said he, as well as his coaching staff, is looking for more ways to put Barrett in a position to succeed.“We actually did some empty (formations), I think he’ll be a good empty quarterback, five receiver set, so we’re still, once again, figuring out exactly how we’re going to be moving the ball as an offense once we start getting to the Big Ten season,” Meyer said. The Buckeyes are set for a bye week before taking on the Cincinnati Bearcats on Sept. 27 at Ohio Stadium. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m.
Ohio State men’s soccer head coach Brian Maisonneuve watches the Buckeyes play in the first half of the game against the University of South Florida on Sept. 7, 2018. Credit: Casey Cascaldo | Photo EditorThe Ohio State men’s soccer team (1-7-2, 0-3-1 Big Ten) returns to the pitch Friday night as it takes on Cleveland State in the 17th annual Connor Senn Memorial Match at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium. The match will feature a tribute to the legacy of former Ohio State men’s soccer player Connor Senn, who collapsed during a match at the University of Akron in 2001, and died later that evening. Cleveland State (2-5-1, 1-2-1 Horizon) comes to Columbus fresh off a victory over the University of Illinois at Chicago, powered by a hat trick by junior midfielder/defender Vlad Jandric.Between the pipes, Cleveland State has trotted out a pair of freshmen this season, alternating between Nicklas Rulle and Alex Gyerman. Gyerman has played almost twice as much as Rulle and has compiled a 1.32 goals against average and a .759 save percentage. Meanwhile, Rulle comes into Friday’s match with a 2.40 goals against average and a .417 save percentage. On the other end of the field, one of the strengths of Ohio State has been the play of redshirt junior goalkeeper Parker Siegfried. Siegfried has a 1.44 goals against average and a .681 save percentage. He said has continued belief and confidence in the 10 teammates in front of him. “It’s about getting our confidence back. I don’t think there’s a game this year that if we didn’t play it over we have a good chance of winning,” Siegfried said. “I think that everyone feels that, coaching staff feels that, players feel it and so just getting that confidence when we roll the ball up Friday night, just having that for 90 minutes is going to do it.”Offensively, the Viking attack is spearheaded by two players, Jandric and junior forward Gabriel Pewu, both of whom have three goals on the season.Ohio State head coach Brian Maisonneuve talked about the offensive skill that Cleveland State possesses.“Cleveland State’s a good team, I mean they’re very good going forward. Similar to Rutgers is they can hurt you going forward, they have some really good pieces, some good athletes and good soccer players and they’re dangerous on the offensive side,” Maisonneuve said.Maisonneuve also said the team hopes for an improvement after an exhibition match that occured between Ohio State and the Vikings this past spring.“They like to possess the ball but yet they’re athletic enough to go direct, so they’re going to cause some challenges,” Maisonneuve said. “I know we played them in the spring, and the result didn’t go our way, so the guys know what they’re all about, and I think they scored 5 on us in the spring, so they’re a dangerous attacking team for sure.”The Buckeyes and Vikings are scheduled to start at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium at 7 p.m. on Friday.
Mohamed Salah broke Premier League’s goal record as Liverpool cruised to a 4-0 victory at Anfield. Most of the Liverpool players who were present from the first minute in the loss to Chelsea started this game as well. The only changes Klopp made was dropping Milner and Clyne. Alexander-Arnold was the right back, Henderson and Wijnaldum were the only true midfielders, while Solanke got a rare chance to lead the attack. Izquierdo, Ulloa, Gross and Saltor were absent from Chris Hughton’s lineup that took the field a week ago at Manchester City. Locadia, March, Kayal and Schelotto were brought in instead. There was a penalty claim for Liverpool in the 9th minute, when Alexander-Arnold’s cross hit Shane Duffy on the arm. The referee could’ve calmly shown on the penalty spot. Duffy was lucky that Kevin Friend decided to keep quiet. Nine minutes later, The Reds had another penalty claim. I don’t know what was the referee thinking, but it was a clear penalty. Duffy was the guilty party again, as he tripped Salah inside the box. A terrible decision. Salah and Klopp were understandably unhappy. A minute after that, Sadio Mane had an excellent opportunity to score. He was one-on-one with the goalkeeper, yet shot the ball straight at him.Brighton was barely connecting passes, as Liverpool had full control of the possession and pressured immediately upon losing it. In he 26th minute we had the first goal of the game and guess who scored it? Yes, you’re right. It was Mohamed Salah. The Egyptian broke the Premier League record for goals in a season with 32. He managed to break free inside the box for just a second. It was enough for Alexander-Arnold to find him and for him to fire a low left-footed shot that Mathew Ryan was unable to reach.A couple of minutes later, the score should’ve been increased to 2-0. A failed offside trap left Mane and Salah all alone with Brighton’s goalie. Mane could’ve taken a shot, but decided to set up Salah instead. Ryan used the fact that the strikers were close next to each other and saved Salah’s attempt. The ball rebounded back to the record-breaker, who shot again. A Brighton defender threw his body in the way and blocked the shot at the goal line. An unbelievable miss. By the 30th minute, the home team had 10 attempts on goal. Brighton had none.Scotland’s Robertson hopes for a positive result against Belgium Manuel R. Medina – September 7, 2019 Scotland was defeated at home 2-1 by Russia in yesterday’s 2020 European Championship qualifiers, and the team is almost out of the race for a spot at the Euros.Wijnaldum and Firmino had chances to score as well. The Dutch international’s strike from inside the box was a weak one and right up the middle, while the Brazilian’s flew over the bar. Liverpool finally got that second goal in the 40th minute. Brighton cleared the ball during a corner kick, but it came right to Van Dijk, who passed it on to Robertson. The left back then sent a cross, Dejan Lovren flew in and headed the ball home. The two teams were simply classes apart. At the beginning of the second half, Firmino and another Liverpool player took the ball away at midfield. Liverpool’s #9 was the one who took it, ran with it and then fired a long-range shot that forced Ryan to make a save. Klopp’s decision to start Dominik Solanke paid off as the youngster scored his first goal for Liverpool after 26 appearances, mostly short cameos. It was the 54th minute when Firmino gave the ball to Salah at midfield. The Egyptian magician dribbled past a couple of challengers, pushed the ball forward and then passed it to Solanke on the right side of the box. The tall attacker set himself up and blasted a powerful shot that shook the inside of the cross bar before hitting the net.Pascal Gross and Glenn Murray came in as substitutions after the goal. Two consecutive mistakes by Bong and Schelotto left Firmino with a perfect opportunity to further Brighton’s misery. He placed his shot, but the placement wasn’t good enough, as Matt Ryan made the save. Sadio Mane received a standing ovation for his tremendous season in the 74th minute, as he was walking off the pitch to make way for Adam Lallana. In the 84th minute, Salah received the most well deserved standing ovation of the season when was substituted by 18-year-old Ben Woodburn. Firmino left the pitch as well. Ings replaced him.Not long after the changes, Liverpool’s slow build-up play ended with a cross that was deflected right onto Robertson’s left foot. The extraordinary left back scored to make it 4-0. That’s how it stayed until the final whistle. The Reds were close to sealing a direct berth to the Champions League group stage through the league, but Tottenham somehow managed to defeat Leicester City 5-4 in order to finish 3rd. Nevertheless, it was a fantastic season for Klopp and his squad that is now going to get ready for one of the most anticipated finals in CL history.
