Body Found In River Nith During Major Search

At about 1.15pm today, Wednesday 1 August 2018,Police officers searching for the missing woman Lynn Tyeson were alerted by a member of the public to the discovery of a body in the water in the River Nith, south of Kingholm Quay.Officers assisted by the Coastguard and Nith Inshore Rescue staff have recovered the body, which has still to be identified.
